Oak Bluffs is noted for its colorful Gingerbread Cottages. It is a must see, everyone different with the lattice work and colors. In the 19th Century Methodists came and built over 300 of these colorful Victorian small cottages. Today they are privately owned. There is a 90 minute walking tour of the cottages.
